Val Air Ballroom is The Premier Des Moines Entertainment Venue featuring National Acts and Local Musicians

* You must 18 years of age or older to enter contest. Winner must provide proof of identity and age to claim prize(s).

* All submissions in the Logo Contest become the sole property of the Val Air Ballroom and Cardani Productions, which property will include all personal property rights, copyrights, moral rights and all other intellectual property rights in the submissions. Submissions will not be returned to the Artist. The Artist will not create derivative works of their submissions or use their submissions outside of this contest.

* Submissions may be used to promote and create awareness of the Logo Contest. This promotion may occur through a variety of communication channels, including for example, billboards, ads, web, posters and postcards.

* All submissions must be the original work of the artist.

* Employees of the Val Air Ballroom or Cardani Productions and their relatives are excluded from the Contest. Although employees and their relatives may submit entries, these entries will not be judged.

* All entrants are responsible for the safe transport of their submissions to the drop off location at the times prescribed by the Val Air Ballroom and Cardani Productions.

* All judging decisions are final.

* Transfer: Artist hereby transfers to Val Air Ballroom and Cardani Productions all rights in and to the Work. Val Air Ballroom and Cardani Productions may use the Work to promote and create awareness of any Val Air Ballroom and Cardani Productions Events. This promotion may occur through a variety of communication channels, including but not limited to, billboards, posters, web, postcards or other medium. 

* Representation and Warranty: Artist warrants and represents that Artist is the sole creator of the Work, and that Artist has the right to grant all rights granted herein and Val Air Ballroom and Cardani Productions’s use of the Work as permitted herein will not infringe on the rights of any third party. Artist will not create derivative works from the Work or use the Work for any purpose other than the Val Air Ballroom and Cardani Productions.

* Indemnification: Artist will indemnify and hold Val Air Ballroom and Cardani Productions, its parent, associates, partners, successors, licensees and assigns, harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising out of any breach of the warranty set forth in Section 3. Artist acknowledges that Val Air Ballroom and Cardani Productions will rely on this transfer potentially at substantial cost and Artist hereby agrees not to assert any claim of any nature whatsoever against anyone relating to the exercise of the permissions granted hereunder.

* Credit: Depictions of the Work produced by Artist, Val Air Ballroom and Cardani Productions may or may not include a credit to the Artist.

* Requirements: Nothing herein constitutes any obligation of or promise by Val Air Ballroom and Cardani Productions to make use of the Work or provide any awards, rewards, prizes or credit.

* Submissions must be at a reasonable resolution (72 dpi - 150 dpi JPG, PDF, PNG).

* Final winner of contest must submit ALL original artwork associated with the Work, including but not limited to any type of Adobe, Corel or other design application files. Contest winner must submit a Disc with all variations of the Logo in high-resolution (min. 300 dpi) format suitable for print, web, and various other uses.
